Today’s visit to Pumwani Maternity Hospital was truly humbling.
From the “old Pumwani” to a modern, caring, and clean facility—it’s encouraging to see how far this institution has come.
With over 50 births every day, Pumwani is a place where futures begin—presidents, lawyers, doctors, dreamers.
Thanks to our joint Cluster 7 initiative, we donated reclining maternity beds that will help mothers during delivery by improving back posture and comfort. The hospital team was extremely grateful.
We also got to see their future architectural designs—and honestly, Pumwani’s vision is inspiring.
Rotary has 7 Areas of Focus, and today we advanced the pillar of Maternal and Child Health. This is just the beginning of a longer journey together.
